Fratelli la Bufala is planning to open in the old Niko’s spot on the corner of Broadway and 76th Street on the Upper West Side. Fratelli la Bufala is a traditional Neapolitan pizza restaurant, which is part of a chain run out of Italy by three Italian brothers. This will be their 3rd U.S. restaurant, and 1st in New York. The three brothers come from a family that made buffalo mozzarella, and they feature the ingredient prominently in their pizzas. Read more at the West Side Rag.
