Hurricane Irene May Shut Down NYC Transit System

Hurricane Irene is expected to arrive in NYC Saturday evening and remain in the area till late Sunday. Evacuations may be necessary for some areas of the city and the MTA may decide to shut down the entire transit system due to the extreme flooding potential.
